- Presented by Nina Lucas, the First Annual Spring Fling will take place in April 2010 from 9 p.m.-2 a.m. Against the elegantly appointed ballroom backdrop, guests will be treated to cocktails, a selection of sweets and cheeses orchestrated by Cook's Library's Thera Thorp, and performances by John Gold and Friends. Lucas aims to bring to life her vision of romance and opulence from a bygone era and has assembled a team of production designers and artists help beautifully execute this event. And naturally, formal attire is required. Thanks to the eclectic host committee, the guest list is comprised of L.A.'s chicest and most creative residents from the fashion, arts, culture, design, music, film, entertainment, media, and beauty industries, as well as the about-town types who simply know how to have a good time. 500 people are expected to attend.
